MACROSS ZERO U.N. GOVERNMENT

This is a Yamato's 1/60 VF-0A from Macross Zero - OVA. Have you seen the movie yet? Well go watch it first hehe...

Top view of the model.

Side view with landing gear down.

Rear view. Look at the thruster, nice detail

This VF-0A pilot by Shin Kudo from U.N.G. ( the United Nation Government ) and also the VF-0S pilot by Roy Focker (not picture ) used in the battle at the island of Mayan in late 2008, and made use of a VF-0A "Angel" ( with Ghost Booster, to be shown later) and VF-0S "Angel" during the final mission to fight off the Anti U.N. military which they used the SV-51 model (shown on previous posts).

Non-armor type. Looks empty huh, not nice...

With 6 missiles and two rocket luncher.

It keeps better and better. Can you tell me, how many missiles are there?

It's front cockpit seat, watch closely...

The seat actually can rotate backward. What missing here is the decal.

If you look closely, It is well-detailed with pull-up to open it's cockpit and also working landing gear for you to display it. Taadaa....

The pilot were colored very detail just like in the movie to keep its realistic look. Very cool man...

View whats inside like.

Now, change to gerwalk mode.

Front view.
Left side view.
Right side view. Look.. a guttling gun pod !
And now change to battloid mode.
Oh man, i forgot to put the cover for both it's air intake.
No body move, or i'll blow your brain out !
Full of its arsenals laying around, waiting for me to install it haha...

Here is the 'Angel', the QF-2200D-B Ghost Booster unit. In the movie, there are two type of booster models; the QF-2200A, and the QF-2200D. This two models was build mainly to execute a top secret reconnaissance mission because of high-maneuverability, superior in stealth and also an unmanned aircraft.

MACROSS ZERO - A.U.N.

"Human Bird"

This time i'm gonna show you my other variable fighter adapted from Macross Zero OVA, this model above is from the Anti United Nation Military ( A.U.N ) side, the SV-51α Alpha (mass production) type model.

Top view

Side view of the cockpit

This model is not much different from my previous post of Nora's SV-51γ (Gamma) model which is a modified unit. There are another gamma model which was piloted by an ace pilot name D.D Ivanov (which will be put on my next post soon :) Take note that today's post i just show you the model in fighter mode only, and if you want to see the gerwalk or battroid mode, please open my pervious post on Nora, thanks.

Along with SV-51γ Nora (gamma type)

up-close view, love this two

Here are some feature for your guidence:

SV-51α: Alpha - Mass production type, a single-seat version

SV-51γ: Gamma - Specially tuned model, a single-seat version

This two models the SV-51α ( mass production) which is pilot by ordinary A.U.N pilot and the SV-51γ ( gamma - which is a modified units and were built of specially tuned versions ) which is pilot by A.U.N. ace pilots Nora Polyansky and D.D. Ivanov (a black SV-51γ) were used during the operation to retrive an alien 'thing' around the island of Mayan.

the pilot also looks stickey and soft just like Nora previously

The air-intake, more fantastic work have to be done here. I wish they make it more realistic, but they just being lazy i guess. If they re-issue with new realistic air-intake, sure i'll buy one haha..

it also got working landing gear and with rubber tyre

just plain white... Yamato! you can do better than this

view from below, its landing gear compartment

more landing gears at the back

In the movie, the only problem i notice with the SV-51 is that it has high fuel consumption, it seem that the fighter are eating too much fuel. Thats why it has a much shorter range that it was often necessary for the SV-51 to be transported to the operational area by a modified submarine and launched from underwater.

Along with it's weapons: gun-pods, six mounting missile launchers, two fuel pods, twin mounting boosters and stand included. Actually, the wings can be flip up-wards (no pic provided here), so that it can be stow at the hanger inside of a submarine. You should watch the movie yourself. A.U.N. built the SV-51 which is generated by overtuned conventional engines rather than the more powerful thermonuclear reaction engines which is used by the VF-0's fighter from the U.N side.

MY ALL TIME FAVOURITE - VOLTES V.

VOLTES V

This is didicated to my GF... thanks for letting me buying this.

Just asked yourself what is your very first favourite robot when you were a kid??
I still remember mine, the very first robot movie i saw when i was just 7 or 8 years old, it was Voltes V, that time Macross not came out yet, and hell yes i still love them till now.

I got this toy made by Bandai, and it consists of abs, diecast and plastic and is really solid and suprisingly heavy if you hold it in your hands. To me, buying this toy is a really satisfying experience. This item got a price tag of 16,590Yen, don't know how much in BND, but i got it just below $200 yeah, but at that price.... for me it feel like someone whipping my ass !!

I get my 'Soul of Chogokin - Voltes V' during shopping at MBK, if you been there then you know where it is. I go-girl* it in the internet and still watch it at U-pipe*. I find it funny to watch it now but back then this was my superhero robot. You should watch it's movie, its fun. Why?? because i said so. Oh almost forgot, * means you have to used your common sence, muahahaha....

From the picture, you can see that Voltes V consist of five machines that can combine together into a giant robot called Voltes V (Voltes Five). The five machines are

Volt Crewzer

you notice there are some chiping, it fell off my hand while
i'm taking it off the shelf. dyem..

the cockpit hatch can be open and look there is the pilot

very tiny pilot figure include

the landing gear.

Volt Bomber

something missing here...

yeah, i forgot to take out the tail wings. bummer....

oh well, just enjoy the pic guys

not to forget its landing gear as well.

Volt Panzer

I like this one, if got 1:1 scale i might buy one myself. muahaha...

there are two missile on the front and two folded arm on top of it's back

got rubber tyre

wow even got that robot hand,

i love this one, it so into me.

at the back there is a hatch for a storage

with this, i can go anywhere i want to

Volt Frigate

it turn out that a kid flying one of this

i wish they made a bigger landing gear next time

huge aircraft but got small landing gear

it got twin radar and one booster rocket on each side at the back

side view

Volt Lander

this cute little here was piloted by a woman

rear view

front view

it's front seat, looks fun to drive one of this, if its real that is hehe...

just brought back from car wash

don't be fool by the cute look, its got weapons underneath

if you flip foward the hood, there... see what i mean

nice shining drill, sharp too

When you bought this toy, it came with big box. Thats because it didn't come just the toy (hehe) but it comes with tons of accessories!!
Here only some of the accessories, not all because lazy to take pic :)

i forgot to included the plastic sword, here only the chrome one

Gatling Missiles, its a missiles luncher what else.

Choudenji Strings, this strings are actually Voltes's waist belt that can be removable and turned into a weapons when in battle like wipping the enemy's ass... haha

( sorry no picture taken, just reffer to the next picture below :)

Choudenji Gom'ma, ooh i like this one, its like a spinning "gasing" like i said before and it can attach with the Choudenji Strings and become powerful weapons. Cool stuff huh..

Chain Knuckles, this weapon got a long metal chain which is at the end attached to a "bat"-like weapon and at the tip of it got spike all around it.

And the last one...

the Tenkuu Ken a.k.a the Lightning Sword... guess where the sword being kept?? Look at the red emblem on Voltes's chest there is a big 'M' like shape, thats where the sword being kept. Although Bandai provides plenty weapons but mostly I like the solid chrome sword, look more real. Here Bandai provides two swords, the chrome and the plastic.

very shining sword

you dare challange me?!!.. i'll cut you into half

Other accessories that included in the box set are the Mechanical Eagle, different variant of hands, the display stand, landing gears and a few other things that i don't know what their names are. The cd's, i bought it saperately.

this is where i put all it's weapons (side A), nice stand huh

here, you can hear all the soundtrack of every robot you see in the picture cover.

the weapon's stand (side B)

I got my favourite toys right here, so what's your?

MACROSS ZERO - ANTI-U.N.

Macross Zero rule!

This model - SV-51r pilot by Nora ( she the only women pilot in Macross Zero series ), belongs to the Anti-UN military from the Macross Zero - OVA series.

In fighter mode fully armed

With 4 rocket luncher and 2 anti-ship missiles.

Also twin-booster on top of it's wings

In the movie, they only used the twin-booster during the finale epsode.

Right, I want to point out some comment out of this thing. I didn't come across any fighter in 1/60 that got the same size with this one, you can see it yourself, it's huge... seriously. In fighter mode, from the the nose cone to the end of the feet thrustersits, it's 14 inches long . I tell you, there's no missing this one on the shelf that's for sure.

Pic from rear view.

Top view.

I find it in fighter mode is the best of the three mode of this variable fighter where every part and piece locks into place. Take into consideration it's almost $400, hell yeah... for that price every single piece should be flawless, although i've heard there are some qc problem, but thank god mine is OK.
Also included here is a mini Nora figure, to me it looks like sticky and soft, hehe...

She is the pilot of this beautiful fighter.

Gerwalk mode always looks best when displayed stand than it does on the ground. The stand is included with the set. Too bad, how come the other sets ie. VF-0S and VF-0A got no stand included, even the VF with Ghost booster version got no stand??
Nice stand anyway. Lazy to take pic of the landing gear but it folds out nicely and the detail is as impressive as the rest of the toy, muahahahaha....

In gerwalk mode, aka "Human Bird".

Along with it's gun pod.

It comes with the full armored of extra gun pods, missiles and boosters too fully deck out the fighter for long range combat. I prefer fighter with maximum armament in fighter mode.

The head actually can be use as a “periscope” like seen in the movie

This is one of the twin booster, up-close pic.

In battroid mode it stand around 13 inches tall and it look great with or without the stand.

In action.

Lend me your hand phone, i wanna call someone

Come here you..

One more step i'll blast you away, got me!

There are so many things to say here, just simply lazy to explane.
So just enjoy the pic guys.

Attach to it's leg is an extra magazing for it's gun pod.

Now that you've seen the toy, imagine it's box!! The box measure's 15 x 14 x 6 inches with a lid act as a display that opens to reveal the contents packed neatly in clear vacuum-form trays.
I've try to pun into one of my size 26" travel laugge and its already 80% full, just left some space for my other toy shopping stuff... So, if you want to buy it online, importing it too can be expensive, box size + weight = custom smiling :P

For me, i really do like this mecha design. So, i can only recommending this to the most die-hard Macross fans, because of the expensive for what it is, however it does stand out from the rest of your toys on the shelf.
HAPPY COLLECTING.
